LD Technologies

This slide illustrates the basic technologies used in ROHM’s LD products. Three main elements make it possible to develop and supply high quality products. The first is an advanced crystal growth technology. The second is micro-processing combined with wet-dry etching. The third is a high quality assembly line utilizing in-house production equipment. Leveraging these has allowed ROHM to supply more than 100 million pieces per year for over 10 years.
