The UWS series standard features include a wide 4:1 input range of 18-75V and outputs of 3.3V/15A, 5V/10A or 12V up to 4.5A of current in an industry standard, DOSA compatible, low profile, sixteenth-brick package. Boasting tight line and load regulation, the UWS series requires no minimum load. For systems requiring controlled startup/shutdown, remote On/Off control is available with negative or positive polarity. Users can also trim the output voltage of the UWS series 5V and 12V models up by 10% or down by 20% with an external trim resistor. For the 3.3V model, trim is ±10%. In addition, the UWS series operates within the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The UWS series also offers input-output isolation with basic protection up to 2250VDC, is certified to meet UL/EN/IEC 60950-1 2nd edition safety approvals and is RoHS-6 compliant. The UWS series also offers optional features such as a surface mount package and various pin lengths for the through hole version.
