The ICS525 series is a flexible way to generate a high-quality, high-accuracy, high-frequency clock output from an inexpensive crystal or clock input. The user can configure the device to produce nearly any frequency from any input frequency by grounding or floating the select pins without an MCU, software or device programmer. The designer can select the frequencies required using the configurable reference divider, VCO divider, and output divider settings. The ICS257 series is a similar family of products that employs a zero-delay buffer feature and is ideal for applications that require defined input and output timing.
