The second controllable factor important to sensor accuracy is sensor installation. To help with this, Honeywell offers a mounting tool that allows the customer to correctly position and install the sensor, providing repeatable installation and increasing accuracy. A one-piece or two-piece assembly tool is available, depending on the accuracy needed. Some customers may require an accuracy level of only ±2 degrees, which is achievable without an assembly tool. Honeywell can also provide prints of the assembly tool should the customer want to machine the tool.
