In this example, a 40A Naos Raptor™ module experiences a 10A load step. The red curve demonstrates the voltage excursion for a given external capacitance without the use of the tunable loop. As seen here, there are two ways that the tunable loop can add significant value: 1) For a given external capacitance, say 1000mF, the tunable loop can improve the voltage excursion by approximately a factor of 3 from 55mV to 18mV, and 2) To achieve a given voltage excursion, say 30mV, the necessary capacitance would be reduced by approximately an ORDER of MAGNITUDE from 3500mF down to 350.
