When selecting an input capacitor, attention should be paid to the power dissipation of the capacitor. A low ESR capacitor should be selected if possible. For Delta’s standard isolated DC/DC converter, the input reflected ripple current is less than 1 mA/W. For example, if a converter’s rated output power is 100 W, the input reflected current shall not exceed 100 mA.
