CRCW-HP SnPb Series Resistors

Vishay Dale CRCW-HP lead (Pb)-bearing, pulse-proof, high-power thick-film chip resistors combine high power ratings with small case sizes that save space on PCB boards. The double-sided resistive element of this series resistor is ideally suited for applications where high power and enhanced pulse-proof features are required, available in sizes of 0402 up to 2512 with respective tolerance and TCR combinations of ±5%, ±1%, or ±0.5% along with 100 ppm and 200 ppm/°C. The resistance range goes from 1 Ω through 1 MΩ and 0 Ω jumper with enhanced maximum current capability up to 20 A. The tin-lead termination combined with automotive AEC-Q200 qualification makes this product suitable for many applications in the AMS and industrial markets. With enhanced rated power from 0.2 W up to 1.5 W, the CRCW-HP SnPb offers significant space savings to designers. For instance, one CRCW0805-HP can replace two standard 1206 thick-film chip resistors, representing component count reduction and substantial space board savings of approximately 75%.
