LC Compact Uniboot Patch Cord

Rosenberger developed different series of fiber cable high-density management to meet the needs of growing networking applications. The high speed and high-density solutions are critical, especially in fiber optic cable installation and cable management. The LC compact uniboot patch cord and LC duplex patch cord can meet different density application scenarios. All LC patch cord designs meet EIA/TIA and IEC/DIN EN standards.

The LC compact uniboot patch cord saves cable installation space by more than 50% with a special two-core 2 mm round cable for deployment compared to the standard duplex LC patch cord with duplex zip cable design. The round cable design allows easy cable management compared to traditional zip duplex. The short boot design also benefits cabling with low depth, such as installation scenarios in optical distribution frames (ODF) when the density is high. The total length of the connector from ferrule to the end of boot is 52 mm, compared to over 60 mm standard LC. The uniboot connect is designed with a compact, rugged backshell with short central relief, making it suitable for high-density installation. The unique design of the polarity reversal of the compact uniboot LC connector allows easy switching of A/B polarity without using any tools. The dust cap can also be viewed as a visual fault locator. Both standard LC duplex patch cord and LC compact uniboot patch cord are available for single mode and multimode. We offer both Erika Violet and aqua cable color for OM4. All patch cords are assembled in the US and are TAA compliant.
