R9A02G021 RISC-V 48 MHz CPU

The RISC-V R9A02G021 MCU is an ultra-low power 48 MHz device based on the innovative Renesas RISC-V CPU core with 128 KB code Flash memory, 16 KB SRAM, and 4 KB of data Flash. The end application can benefit from a rich set of serial interface peripherals (UART, SPI, I²C), application and low-power timers, and analog features like 12-bit ADC, 8-bit DAC, and on-chip comparators. It can operate at low voltage and has a low standby current, which, combined with its high operating performance, enables the deployment of energy efficient applications. Users can develop this device using a complete ecosystem based on Renesas free tools like the e2 Studio IDE, including plugins for an optimized peripheral driver code generator, a performant LLVM-based compiler, and a low-cost fast prototyping board (FPB) with an on-board debugger included for enhanced user experience.
