Power Supply Series – Dimension; Mini Line and PIANO

Dimension Series: The Dimension series provides the highest quality of performance and represents the long term technology excellence and application experience of PULS. The product offering ranges from basic units with only essential functions to premium products for more demanding applications. Power supplies have output voltages from 12 V to 56 V in single-phase and 3-phase input voltages. In addition to switched mode power supplies, Dimension series products also include redundancy modules, DC/DC converters, and DC back-up systems using capacitors or batteries for energy storage.

Mini Line and PIANO Series: The Mini Line series covers the lower power requirement ranges from 15 W to 100 W with output voltages from 5 V to 56 V. These plastic housing units are highly reliable and are available with spring clamp and screw terminal connections. The PIANO series utilizes innovative approaches to design and manufacturing to provide high quality and reliability at reduced prices. The PIANO series includes 24 V units with 5 A and 10 A of output power in a rugged, durable plastic housing.

DC/DC Converters: PULS CD5 series DC/DC converters provide isolation and voltage regulation for applications with voltage drops due to long cable runs, unreliable sources such as batteries, and/or voltage conversion. The compact design of the CD5 series requires minimal mounting space and includes galvanic isolation and a soft-start feature. Additionally, many PULS Dimension series power supplies are designed and approved to operate with a DC input voltage for greater system flexibility and functionality.

DC Back-Up Systems: Power fluctuations and outages can severely disrupt and potentially damage control and communication systems, while also causing unexpected downtime. PULS offers a variety of DC back-up systems from electrolytic capacitor based buffer units to a unique one-battery concept DC-UPS system for increased system reliability.
