The TF42 series back flip FPC connector combines a small space-saving design with superior retention force. These connectors have FPC retention force up to three times higher than front flip connectors.

  • Space-saving design with 3.0 mm depth
  • Single row contact structure allows superior power supply (0.4 A/pin)
  • Superior FPC retention force up to 11 N, up to 3X higher than typical front flip connectors
  • Possible to ship, store, and mount to PCB with actuator in safely closed position prior to FPC insertion
  • Contact gap for FPC insertion is secured regardless of actuator operation
  • A side catcher simplifies installation by temporarily providing stable FPC retention for easy and accurate FPC positioning
  • Overmold design ensures no contacts are exposed on the bottom side of the connector when installing
  • Offering PCB design flexibility, the board area under the connector is available for PCB traces
  • Designed for volume manufacturing, as it is compatible for vacuum pick up
  • Solder wicking is prevented via a nickel barrier
  • Long actuator with greater than 90° rotation angle ensures easy operation
