Implementing RISC-V with the T20 BGA256 Development Kit
PulseRain Reindeer RISC-V, soft CPU with the Efinix T20 BGA256 development kit
Using Efinix’s T20 BGA256 development kit and a JTAG cable allow for relatively easy implementation of 32-bit RISC-V from PulseRain. With the purchase of the Trion® T20 BGA256 development kit, users get a one-year subscription to Efinity, Efinix’s design environment. A JTAG cable, which allows for multiple RISC-V projects and further debugging will need to be purchased separately.
The RISC-V EEWiki outlines how to get started and begin projects by configuring the memory.
- SPI and JTAG headers
- 50 MHz and 74.25 MHz oscillators
- User LEDs and access to GPIO
- 32-bit general RISC-V implementation
- Bridging and control planes
- General IoT host applications
- Industrial and medical computing
- Acceleration and deep learning in edge devices
