Infineon's CYBLE-222014-01 module is a turnkey solution that includes all of the necessary hardware required to use Bluetooth low energy (BLE) 4.2. It is a fully certified and qualified module in a small footprint that is perfect for space-constrained applications needing BLE 4.2 wireless communication. The CYBLE-222014-01 includes onboard crystal oscillators, a chip antenna, passive components, and Infineon's PRoC BLE.
The CYBLE-222014-01 supports a number of peripheral functions (ADC, timers, counters, and PWM) and serial communication protocols (I2C, UART, and SPI) through its programmable architecture. The CYBLE-222014-01 includes a royalty-free BLE stack compatible with Bluetooth 4.2 and provides up to 16 GPIOs. The CYBLE-222014-01 has 256 KB of memory and is drop-in compatible with the CYBLE-022001-00 (128 KB BLE 4.1) and CYBLE-222005-00 (256 KB BLE 4.1).
The CYBLE-222014-01 offers an evaluation board, the CYBLE-222014-EVAL, that allows designers to evaluate and develop applications with ease. The CYBLE-222014-EVAL can be programmed and developed with the Bluetooth low energy pioneer kit, CY8CKIT-042-BLE-A, or the MiniProg3 debug kit CY8CKIT-002 and PSoC Creator.
