PSoC 4100 MCU Family: Intelligent Analog
The PSoC 4100 MCU Family adds intelligent analog to the PSoC 4 microcontroller architecture via programmable analog blocks, in addition to CapSense. These Programmable Analog Blocks are hardware modules that enable engineers to create custom Analog Front Ends (AFEs) and include blocks such as analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), low-power comparators, and op amps. Programmable Analog Blocks allow PSoC 4100 MCUs to interface with virtually any analog sensor. A PSoC 4100 MCU option is available with integrated BLE connectivity as well.

PSoC 4200 MCU Family: Programmable Digital
The PSoC 4200 MCU Family boosts flexibility as well as performance of the PSoC 4 portfolio with the addition of programmable, Universal Digital Blocks (UDBs). UDBs can be configured to create customer digital interfaces, state machines, and custom logic functions. They can even be cascaded together to create wider than 8-bit functions and are able to be configured in PSoC Creator using schematic capture, a graphical state machine editor, or Verilog code. A PSoC 4200 MCU option is available with integrated BLE connectivity as well.
