Cinch Space Mission Solutions

Cinch Connectivity Solutions Space Mission Solutions include Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 9 connectors, Qualified Parts for Space (QPS) attenuators, cable assemblies, and micro-D connectors.

Cinch Connectivity Solutions are engineered for tomorrow to provide Space Mission Solutions that include Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 9 connectors, Qualified Parts for Space (QPS) attenuators, cable assemblies, and micro-D connectors. These products meet space flight characteristics that include outgassing guidelines from the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E595 (NASA) that restricts outgassing to 1.0% Total Mass Loss (TML) and 0.1% Collected Volatile Condensable Materials (CVCM). These space mission solutions are highly reliable, rugged, and durable offering high performance in the most demanding environments.

The QPS attenuators are available with three standard screening options. The hermetically sealed Twinax and Triax connectors are designed to prevent leakage through the bulkhead from the inside of the connector. These connectors protect data signals from noise through non-signal carrying shielding. The micro-D connectors are designed for high density connections and include solder cup, wire, and PCB termination styles.

Cinch Space Mission Solutions are used in all categories of space systems and sub-systems. Cinch connectors have been used since the early days of NASA and are in use on space telescopes, ISS and Mars rovers.
