The 2 piece board level shield is a step above the Single Piece and EZ Peel shields. Available as a separate frame and cover, the 2 piece shield is the best choice for manufactures who want to inspect their boards after assembly, as the cover can easily be snapped into place. Removal of the cover is easy if inspections and repairs are needed. The 2 piece assemblies are normally offered as two separate part numbers that are similar except the suffix ending in the frame is –F and the cover is –C. If need be, the customer has the option of receiving the frame and cover as a pre-assembled item. Like the EZ peel lids, these shields retain all their physical properties after PCMCIA/JEIDA testing for shock, bending, torque, drop, and vibration.
