Torex's XC9131 series are synchronous step-up DC/DC converters with a 0.2 Ω N-channel driver transistor and built-in 0.2 Ω synchronous P-channel switching transistor. A highly efficient and stable current of up to 1.0 A can be supplied by reducing ON resistance of the built-in transistors. This series of converters can start operation under the condition which has 0.9 V input voltage to generate 3.3 V output voltage with a 33 Ω load resistor. This is suitable for mobile equipment using only one alkaline battery or one nickel metal hydride battery. During shutdown, the load disconnection function can cut the current conduction path from the input to the output.
