The Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton push pull self-latching system is known globally for fast and easy mating. This locking mechanism provides a stable vibration and pull-resistant connector packaged in a compact design. The mating is achieved by pushing the plug axially into the receptacle. There is an audible, tactile, and visual confirmation when mated. Once latched, the connector will only unmate by pulling on the releasing sleeve. If the cable or other parts of the connector are pulled, the pair remains firmly mated. To release, gently pull axially on the releasing sleeve.
