DAC-Slide8

As with other peripherals on the RX, the user must take the DAC unit out of the module stop state before it can be used. If the user tries to write to the DAC's registers before taking it out of the module stop state, the register writes will be ignored. In the Module Stop Control Registers, there is a bit to bring the DAC unit out of the module stop state. Since both DAC channels are part of the same peripheral block, when the DAC is brought out of the module stop state, both channels are enabled for use. If some of the RX's low power consumption modes are being used, then it should be noted that the DAC outputs are retained and the analog power supply current is the same as during D/A conversion in all modes except Deep Software Standby Mode. If a mode other than deep software standby is being used and current consumption needs to be lower, then the user will need to disable the D/A conversion and the DAC outputs before entering the low power mode.
