The E5xC temperature controller product line is Omron’s full featured on-panel temperature controller offering. While most temperature controller products within the E5xC offering have the same or similar feature sets, each iteration of the product has a unique DIN cutout that also determines its product series. The E5CC is a 1/16th DIN cutout, whereas the E5GC is a 1/32nd DIN cutout and so forth. All E5xC temperature controllers have a clear white LCD display that is visible from distance. Optional features across these models include heater burnout alarm to alarm if the amperage increases over time to meet the desired temperature. There are also models available with RS-485 Modbus out communication, remote SP inputs, or transfer outputs. Lastly, Omron has a limited offering of factory mutual approved temperature controllers in the E5CC and E5GC series.
