The LT3092 achieves high performance without any compromises. Featuring 200mA current capability and a wide input voltage range from 1.2V to 40V, the on-chip trimmed current reference achieves an initial accuracy of ±1% with very low temperature coefficient. Outputs may be directly paralleled for higher current, or stacked for higher voltage compliance. Input and output capacitors are not required, making the product ideal for intrinsic safety applications where failure is not tolerated. Extensive protection features include reverse voltage/current/output, current limiting and thermal limiting, protecting both the IC and load. Packaging is compact and thermally efficient, 3mm x 3mm DFN-8, SOT23-8, and SOT223-3.
