Molded in Glass-filled PBT UL rated 94V-0 material, the XMA Series housings incorporate keying and an inertia locking device to prevent accidental disconnection due to routing of wires or vibration. Available in 2 to 6 circuits, the inertia locking mechanism is designed for a secure and stable connection ideal for high vibration applications. It also prevents the contacts from making connection until the mating halves are fully locked. An audible click is heard and felt when mating the plug housing assembly with the mating half. With the use of an optional secondary retainer, the contacts are fully seated and locked into the housings making it ideal for a high vibration environment.
