Many applications require wire-to-wire positive locking connections. The XMA Series crimp-style connectors offer a wire-to-wire solution on a 2.5 mm (.098”) pitch, molded in a RoHS compliant 94V-0 resin. The housings incorporate both keying and a secure inertia locking feature and are designed to prevent contact stubbing/back-out when mating. The contacts are rated at 3 A (using 22AWG wire) at 250 V AC/DC . These robust connectors are available with a secondary retainer to ensure the contacts are fully seated and locked into the housings to prevent accidental release. The positive locking system is designed to fit inside the envelope of the mating housing. The series has an operating temperature range of -25oC to +85oC including temperature rise when applying an electrical current. The series is offered in sizes ranging from 2~6 circuit sizes.
