Honeywell’s Linear Hall-Effect Sensor ICs are designed and manufactured for cost competitiveness. All packages can be supplied on tape for automated, lower-cost assembly. They are available in miniature and sub-miniature construction. The SS39ET’s small footprint takes up little space on the PC board, making it ideal for compact designs. They have several features that provide flexibility within the application, including the ability to interface with many electrical components without buffering, the ability to respond to either positive or negative Gauss, and the ability to respond to both North and South poles. They are stable and accurate over the full temperature range, due to the thermally balanced integrated circuit.
