Grayhill has also developed several encoders with special features for various applications. The 60A Joystick encoder incorporates an 8-way mechanical joystick. This allows additional functionality to be incorporated into the product without using additional panel space. For example, the joystick may be used to allow movement of a cursor diagonally on a display. Applications for this product include automotive climate controls and rear seat entertainment systems, avionics and oven temperature and humidity controls.
