Image of Vishay Dale's TNPW High-Stability Thin-Film Chip ResistorsVishay's TNPW series thin-film resistor series is an excellent choice where precision and long-term stability are required, with very low resistive drift less than or equal to 0.05% after a 1,000-hour life test. This thin-film series features Vishay’s specialized passivation method for superior moisture resistance and has been tested and qualified for the severe automotive 85°C/85% biased humidity test. The AEC-Q200 qualification makes this product series an appropriate choice for high-reliability applications. It is available in case sizes 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, and 1210 with a wide resistance range from 1 Ω to 3 MΩ and enhanced power ratings up to 0.5 W for 1210. The TNPW series is offered with pure tin termination plating which is RoHS compliant, but the series is also offered with tin-lead termination. In addition to this, the TNPW series is impervious to sulfur exposure, verified in accordance with the ASTM B 809 standard.
