MIA-M10 Series GNSS SiP Modules
u-blox's MIA-M10 series are ultra-low-power GNSS modules for small asset-tracking devices
u-blox's MIA-M10 series is built on the ultra-low-power u-blox M10 GNSS platform, which provides exceptional sensitivity and acquisition times for all L1 GNSS systems. Low power consumption of less than 25 mW in continuous tracking mode allows exceptional power autonomy for all battery-operated devices without compromising GNSS performance.
The MIA-M10 series system in package (SiP) modules support concurrent reception of four GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou) in a compact design, enabling the receiver modules to select the best signals available. This maximizes the position availability in difficult conditions, such as in deep urban canyons. Additionally, u-blox Super-S technology offers outstanding RF sensitivity. It can improve the dynamic position accuracy by up to 25% with small antennas or in a non-line-of-sight scenario.
The modules detect jamming and spoofing attempts and report them to the host so the system can react to them. Advanced filtering algorithms mitigate the impact of RF interference and jamming, enabling the product to operate as designed.
The MIA-M10Q version integrates an LNA followed by a SAW filter in the RF path for maximum sensitivity in passive antenna designs. The MIA-M10C does not include an LNA or SAW filter, offering flexibility for active antenna designs.
Two M10 GNSS evaluation kits are available for easily evaluating the performance of u-blox M10 positioning technology. The EVK-M101-00 is designed for evaluating the MIA-M10Q with TCXO oscillator. The EVK-M101C-00 is designed for evaluating the MIA-M10C with crystal oscillator.
u-blox’s u-center 2 is u-blox's powerful tool for configuration, evaluation, and debugging of u-blox GNSS receivers and services. It allows the end users to assess and test u-blox positioning chips, modules, evaluation kits, application boards, and similar devices for navigation and positioning performance.
