MikroElektronika's GNSS 14 Click compact add-on board provides fast positioning capabilities. This board features the MIA-M10Q, a standard precision GNSS module from u-blox. It uses Super-S technology for improved RF sensitivity and dynamic position accuracy. It has exceptional sensitivity and acquisition time for all L1 GNSS signals thanks to its integrated M10 standard-precision low-power platform. The M10 platform supports concurrent reception of four GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou), with the possibility of selecting the best signal from the high number of visible satellites, maximizing position availability, particularly under challenging conditions. Communication is made through a standard two-wire UART interface or an I2C interface in slave mode only, with both UBX and NMEA protocols supported. Additional features include a backup voltage supply option, a time pulse function, an external interrupt signal for a time mark feature, time aiding and wake-up from power save modes, a reset pin, and only 3.3 V for its operation.
The GNSS 14 Click is the perfect solution for developing acquisition and tracking devices and represents an ideal product for automotive, consumer, and industrial tracking applications. It is fully compatible with the mikroBUS™ socket and can be used on any host system supporting the mikroBUS standard. It comes with the mikroSDK open-source libraries, offering unparalleled flexibility for evaluation and customization. The groundbreaking ClickID feature enables the host system to detect and identify this add-on board seamlessly and automatically.
