The IIS3DWBG1TR from STMicroelectronics is a high-performance, ultrawide bandwidth, low-noise, 3-axis digital vibration sensor housed in a compact LGA-14L package. Engineered for demanding industrial and automotive environments, it offers exceptional sensitivity and stability across a wide frequency range and extended temperature conditions.

This system-in-package MEMS sensor is ideal for vibration monitoring, predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring in electric or hybrid vehicles and industrial equipment. It features a selectable full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16 g and supports bandwidths up to 6 kHz with an output data rate of 26.7 kHz. The sensor integrates a 3 KB FIFO buffer to minimize host processor intervention and prevent data loss.

With ultralow noise density (down to 75 µg/√Hz in 3-axis mode), embedded temperature sensing, and self-test capabilities, the IIS3DWBG1TR ensures reliable performance in battery-operated wireless sensor nodes.
