REC3 Series 3 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

RECOM’s REC3 Series offers 3 Watts of power with 3 pinout options.

Besides the standard isolation of 2 kV_DC, the REC3 series offers options of 4 kV_DC (= "/H4") or 6 kV_DC (= "/H6") making it suitable for medical applications and other sophisticated industrial applications. Packaging can be either DIP-24 plastic or 5-side-shielded DIP24 metal case (= option "/M"), as well as SMD pinning (= option "/SMD"). For all the above variants, 2 Industry-standard pinouts (= option "/A" or "/C") are available, and B pinning is available with 1.6 kV_DC isolation. Remote on/off control is possible with the /CTRL option (A pinning only). The converters can deliver 140% rated power for short periods of time to cope with applications with large capacitive loads or high startup currents.

REC5 Series 5 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

RECOM’s REC5 Series offers 5 Watts of power with Industry-standard pinout.

The REC5 Series offers standard isolation of 2 kV_DC with 4kV_DC or 6kV_DC options making it ideal for industrial, medical and other sophisticated high end applications. Packaging can be either DIP-24 non-conductive plastic or 5-side-shielded DIP24 metal case (= option "/M"), as well as DIP24-SMD case (= option "/SMD"). For all the above variants, 2 industry-standard pinouts (= option "/A" or "/C") are available. “B” pinning is also available with “/H” isolation of 1.6kV_DC. Remote on/off control is possible with the /CTRL option (“A” pinning only). The converters can deliver 140% rated power for short periods of time to cope with applications with large capacitive loads or high startup currents.

RECOM’s REC8 Series offers 8 Watts of power with 2 kV_DC or 3 kV_DC reinforced isolation.

The REC8 series converters offer single- and dual-regulated outputs in a DIP24 package with 2 kV or 3 kV isolation options and are suitable for higher power industrial or medical applications. Remote on/off control is standard and SMD pinning is offered with the /SMD option. The converters can deliver 150% rated power for short periods of time to cope with applications with large capacitive loads or high startup currents.

RECOM’s REC10 Series offers 10 Watts with continuous short-circuit protection in a DIP24 package.

The REC10 series converters offer single- and dual-regulated outputs in a DIP24 package with 2 kV or 3 kV isolation options and are suitable for higher power industrial or medical applications. Remote on/off control is standard and SMD pinning is offered with the /SMD option. The converters can deliver 150% rated power for short periods of time to cope with applications with large capacitive loads or high startup currents.

REC20 Series 20 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

RECOM's REC20 offers 20 watts of power with 2:1 & 4:1 input voltage range in a 2" x 1" package with 1.6k VDC isolation for higher power industrial applications.

The REC20-xxxxS_DZ -series offer single- and dual-regulated outputs in a 2" x 1" package with 1.6k VDC isolation and are suitable for higher power industrial applications. Remote on/off control is standard. The higher current outputs have raised output voltages to compensate for track losses as standard. The converter is fully certified to UL/EN/IEC safety standards.

REC30 Series 30 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

RECOM's REC30 offers 30 watts of power with 2:1 & 4:1 input voltage range in a 2" x 1" package with 1.6k VDC isolation for higher power industrial applications.

The REC30-xxxxS_D -series offer single and dual regulated outputs in a 2" x 1.6" package with 1.6k VDC isolation and are suitable for higher power industrial applications. Remote on/off control is standard. The higher current outputs have raised output voltages to compensate for track losses as standard. The converter is fully certified to UL/EN/IEC safety standards.

REC3A Series DC/DC Converters

The REC3A series offers a LOW COST 3 Watt, DIP24 package DC/DC converter with efficiency up to 81%.

The REC3A series is cost efficient, general purpose isolated DC/DC converter containing a built in Class A EMC filter. The converter is designed to run from industry standard 24V or 5V unregulated supplies and is typically used to provide an isolated, regulated, short circuit protected output. Under Voltage Lockout is available as an option. These converters are designed for industrial applications, can drive high capacitive loads and operate over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range without derating.

REC5A Series DC/DC Converters

The REC5A series offers a LOW COST 5 Watt, DIP24 package DC/DC converter with efficiency up to 81%.

The REC5A series is cost efficient, general purpose isolated DC/DC converter containing a built in Class A EMC filter. The converter is designed to run from industry standard 24V or 5V unregulated supplies and is typically used to provide an isolated, regulated, short circuit protected output. Under Voltage Lockout is available as an option. These converters are designed for industrial applications, can drive high capacitive loads and operate over the full -40°C to +68°C temperature range without derating.

REC6A Series DC/DC Converters

The REC6A series offers a LOW COST 5 Watt, DIP24 package DC/DC converter with efficiency up to 80%.

The REC6A series is cost efficient, general purpose isolated DC/DC converter containing a built in Class A EMC filter. The converter is designed to run from industry standard 24V or 5V unregulated supplies and is typically used to provide an isolated, regulated, short circuit protected output. Under Voltage Lockout is available as an option. These converters are designed for industrial applications, can drive high capacitive loads and operate over the full -40°C to +65°C temperature range without derating.

REC10/M Series 10 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

The outputs with 3 A load current have raised output voltages to compensate for track losses as standard.

REC3.5 Series 3.5 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

The REC3.5 Series offers high isolation of either 8 or 10 kV_DC while providing 3.5 Watts of power in a DIP24 package.

RECOM’s REC3.5 Series uses a reinforced isolation transformer to offer exceptionally high isolation of 8 kV_DC (4 kVAC/1 minute) or 10 kV_DC (5 kVAC/1minute) making it suitable for HT monitoring circuits, mains power meters, IGBT isolated power supplies and other sophisticated industrial and medical applications. The isolation capacitance of only 20pF makes them also suitable for low-leakage applications.

The isolation transformer is recognized by CSA as reinforced isolated with a minimum internal clearance of 2.4 mm and a minimum internal creepage clearance of 4.6 mm. The REC3.5 is available in two industry-standard pinouts (= "/A" or "/C"). Remote on/off control is possible with the /CTRL option (A pinning only) and an optional undervoltage lockout function is also available (="/X1"). The converters can deliver 140% rated power for short periods of time to cope with applications with large capacitive loads or high startup currents.

REC6 Series 6 Watt DC/DC Power Modules

RECOM’s REC6 Series offers 6 Watts of power with 8 kV_DC or 10 kV_DC reinforced isolation.

The REC6 series uses a reinforced isolation transformer to offer exceptionally high isolation of 8 kV_DC (4 kVAC/1 minute) or 10 kV_DC (5 kVAC/1 minute) making it suitable for HT monitoring circuits, mains power meters, IGBT isolated power supplies and other sophisticated industrial and medical applications. RPA20-AW Series DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power offers its RPAXX-AW series, 20 and 30 W DC/DC converters for use in railway and industrial applications

The RPA20-AW series are high power density, wide input voltage range 20W DC/DC converters in an industry standard 1”x1” case size. Despite their small size, the RPA20-AW converters are fully specified devices with output currents up to 6Amps, up to 88% efficiency, no minimum load, 1600VDC isolation, tight regulation and low ripple/noise figures. The outputs are also fully protected against over-temperature, short circuits, overcurrent and overvoltage and the single output version offers a ±10% trim range. A heatsink option is available to extend the operating temperature range. The converters are UL and EN50155 certified and will find many uses in railway and industrial applications where board space is at a premium.

RPA30-AW Series DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power offers its RPAXX-AW series, 20 and 30 W DC/DC converters for use in railway and industrial applications
