R1612 Series Crystals

Raltron's R1612 series is one of the industry’s smallest microprocessor crystals and has approximately 50% less surface area than typical ceramic crystals on the market. Housed in a miniature 1.6 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.4 mm ceramic package, the R1612 surface-mount crystal offers a frequency range of 24 MHz to 60 MHz, with wider usage frequencies of 26 MHz, 27.120 MHz, 32 MHz, 38.4 MHz, 40 MHz, and 50 MHz. The available frequency tolerances at room temperature are ±10 ppm and ±30 ppm, and the temperature stability ranges from ±10 ppm to ±50 ppm. The standard operating temperature range is -10°C to +60°C. The crystal is also available in an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Target applications include embedded computing devices, cameras, wearable devices, storage, personal digital devices, wireless applications, microprocessor clocks, portable medical devices, alarms, utility metering, smart home, and other high-density applications.
