Serial ATA Connectors

Molex is an active member of the Serial ATA International Organization (SATA-IO), which is responsible for developing and specifying serial ATA or SATA interconnect standards. As a primary internal storage interconnect for desktop and mobile PCs, serial ATA connects the host system to peripherals such as SSDs, optical drives, hard drives, and removable magnetic media devices. SATA hard drives are important in networking applications, as they enable the integration of higher capacity cost-effective storage solutions. Molex SATA interconnect products consist of external, combo, micro, and Slimline connectors, as well as host receptacles, power and signal connectors, and cable assemblies.
