Microchip WINCS02 and WILCS02 Wi-Fi network and link controllers enable robust connectivity for microprocessor (MPU)-based designs through an SPI or SDIO
The Microchip WINCS02 Wi-Fi network controllers are single-chip solutions for connectivity and network management that connect to any microcontroller (MCU) through an SPI interface. With an on-chip network stack and IPv6 to reduce host load, adding connectivity will not impact performance.
Microchip's WILCS02 Wi-Fi link controllers enable robust connectivity for MPU-based designs through an SPI or SDIO. In addition to supporting Linux® environments, Microchip link controllers offer higher throughput than network controllers.
With either WINCS02 or WILCS02, users do not have to worry about security. They both include necessary security features like WPA3 support and immutable secure boot with hardware root of trust.
