XENSIV 24 GHz radar ICs and Sense2GoL Pulse

Radar is used widely for motion detection in lighting, sanitary, security, and other applications requiring motion sensing. Radar is a superior motion sensor, as it is unaffected by light, temperature, or dust, and inherently detects motion, providing the speed and the direction of motion.

In contrast to other sensor technologies, the BGT24LTR11 XENSIV 24 GHz radar chip is extremely sensitive but also very robust. It also penetrates non-metallic objects, which makes it perfect for fitting into different product designs to eliminate the need for openings or lenses.

The Sense2GoL Pulse board enables presence detection at very low power consumption. The demonstration kit consists of two boards; the radar front-end board (SHIELD_BGT24LTR11) and the microcontroller board (RADAR BB XMC4700). The baseboard adds additional flexibility by allowing battery operation, current measurement, an SD card reader for storage, and Arduino-compatible pin connectors.

XENSIV barometric pressure sensor DPS368 and Shield2Go

The DPS368 is a digital, waterproof barometric air pressure sensor. It is fully functional after immersion in water at a depth of 50 meters for 1 hour (IPx8 certified). The specific package design consists of pads and membranes protected by a gel which makes the sensor very robust and environmentally protected against water, dust, and humidity. In addition to the small size and low energy consumption, this pressure sensor has high sensitivity and precision (±2 cm). XENSIV DPS368 shows great temperature stability over the full temperature range.

XENSIV MEMS microphones and Audiohub Nano

The Audiohub Nano board is designed to allow the user to start recording as quickly and easily as possible while enabling the evaluation of Infineon digital PDM XENSIV MEMS microphones. It works as an external soundcard; just connect to the PC via the micro USB port on the board and start. Digital microphones on flex PCBs can be quickly connected allowing for recording in both mono and stereo modes. The easy exchange of the microphone's FPCBs allows for the quick performance comparison of different PDM interface microphones. The Audiohub Nano comes with four XENSIV IM69D130 digital microphones and can be used with audio editing software that supports 48 kHz and 24-bit recording.
