Image of Hirose PS3 Series ConnectorsThe PS3 series is part of the growing Hirose Electric family of industrial power product connectors. With two types available, power only and power/signal hybrid type, this series is rated for up to 150 A. Like the PS2 series, the PS3 series features a plug-in design allowing battery installation and replacement right on site without the need to re-wire. Simple plugging-in and unplugging is all that is needed. This process can greatly improve safety by reducing the chance of accidental electric shock. 

Featuring high contact reliability with a multi-contact blade design and easy assembly with floating design that absorbs mating misalignment ±2 mm, the PS3 improves efficiency and safety. The signal contact is designed with Hirose GT8E connectors, which are commonly used in automotive applications. 

Rated current is 150 A with 50 mm2 wire, rated voltage is 1,000 VAC/DC for power contacts, and 250 VAC/DC for signal contacts. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +105°C.
