GT17H / HN Series Transmission Shielded Connectors
Hirose's high-speed transmission shielded connectors with positive locking
Hirose's GT17H / HN series is a high-speed transmission shielded connector with positive locking and the capability of transmission speeds of up to 1 Gbps. It supports USB2.0, IEEE1394, LVDS, and GVIF signal. The GT17H is offered in two configurations, a single-row, low-profile version, and a double-row, space-saving version. Plugs are available in both straight and right angle.
A positive locking feature provides a clear tactile click and prevents incomplete mating and accidental release. The GT17H series is well-suited for several automotive applications, with high shock and vibration resistance, and thermal shock resistance at 1000 cycles from -40°C to +85°C. The reliable crimp termination provides stable connection and cost reduction. Pin-in-hole intrusive reflow method allows one-time reflow process with other SMT components and also provides PCB retention force.
Applications include car navigation and car audio, multi-function peripherals, amusement machines, FA controllers, and medical equipment.
