OmniOn Power introduces their MicroTLynx series of power modules
OmniOn Power's MicroTLynx series of power modules are non-isolated DC-DC converters that can deliver up to 12 A of output current. The MicroTLynx series has a wide input voltage range of 2.4 V to 5.5 V (3.3 V / 5 V version) and 4.5 V to 14 V (5 V / 12 V version). These modules provide a precisely regulated output voltage from 0.69 VDC to 3.63 VDC (3.3 VIN / 5 VIN version) and from 0.69 VDC to 5.5 VDC (5 VIN / 12 VIN), which is programmable via an external resistor. Standard features include remote ON / OFF, programmable output voltage, monotonic start-up / shutdown, overcurrent and over-temperature protection, and output voltage sequencing. The Tunable Loop™ feature allows engineers to optimize the control loop to significantly improve transient response and reduce the amount of external filtering. A newly introduced ruggedized (-D) version of the MicroTLynx is capable of operating in an extremely high temperature environment of up to 105°C and also can withstand higher levels of shock and vibration that meet MIL Standards.
