The UL approved CTVS chip varistors (MLVs) from EPCOS meet major safety guidelines for "surge protection devices" in accordance with the UL 1449 standard. This series enables an efficient protection against severe high surge currents and transient overvoltage making it a fit for industrial, smart home, and telecommunications applications. These varistors have efficient overvoltage protection and have a stable protection level all in a small package.
