Fraud prevention and identifying whether an email, phone call, text message, or webpage is from DigiKey
Companies around the world have experienced increased phishing and impersonation attempts. Suspicious or fraudulent emails, text messages, or webpages not from DigiKey may contain:
- Links to websites that look like DigiKey, or organizations that claim to be affiliated with DigiKey.
- What is legitimate?
- Surveys: DigiKey conducts customer survey research. Legitimate surveys sent by DigiKey will come from cx.DigiKey.com and the URL that the survey will send you to is https://feedback.DigiKey.com/ followed by a string of randomly generated characters. Our survey platform, Qualtrics, will occasionally redirect users from https://surveydirector.qualtrics.com/ followed by a string of characters.
- DigiKey's global domains: DigiKey has e-commerce websites for many countries, offering local language and/or local currency options.
- Authorized reselling partners: DigiKey has authorized reseller partners in some countries.

- Forged email addresses to look like the email is coming from DigiKey

- DigiKey emails are sent from @DigiKey.com, @DigiKeyInfo.com or @"something".DigiKey.com (e.g. @t.DigiKey.com)
