Atta Antenna

Antenova’s SRFI079 Atta flexible printed circuit antenna operates on both 410 MHz and 450 MHz bands providing high efficiency for extended range. These bands have excellent propagation characteristics enabling each base station to provide coverage over large areas.

Atta measures 101 mm x 20 mm x 0.15 mm, smaller than competing cellular LTE 410 MHz/450 MHz antennas. This antenna has FPC self-adhesive 3M 468MP, linear polarization, 50 ohm impedance, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Its efficiency range is 60%/55%/45%.

Atta utilizes a 239.0 mm cable directly connecting the host PCB with an I-PEX coax connector. The host PCB ground is not used, making the antenna easy to integrate.

Applications include several types of utility meters, such as water, gas, electricity, and heat reading devices. Many utility meters are subjected to moisture from outdoor elements, which prevents the use of external antennas. Atta is an internal antenna that maintains a waterproof rating.
