Sensirion SEK-SHTxx/SGP30 | DigiKey Daily

Sensirion’s SGP30 is a multi-pixel gas sensor designed for indoor air quality sensing. The SGP30 has four sensing elements comprised of different metal oxides that change resistance in the presence of VOCs. The sensor processes that data to provide total VOC and H2-based CO2 equivalent concentration to the I2C interface. The SGP30 integrates a micro hotplate for temperature control and is factory calibrated to simplify integration. The sensing elements are siloxane resistant, providing long term measurement stability. Sensirion’s SGP30 consumes very little current and uses a compact DFN package for use in IoT applications, air purifiers, and demand-controlled ventilation.
