The THL 15WI series was designed specifically for applications where a cost effective DC/DC converter is required and where conducted EMI levels are important. These converters have a high efficiency from 86% up to 91% typical and they use less power and run cooler without any need for forced air. The THL 15WI series' wide operating temperature range is  -40°C to 90°C with full load output power available up to 70°C convection cooled. Packaged in a rugged metal case, they measure only 1” x 1” x 0.4” and include an integrated filter that meets EN 55032 Class A EMI limits. The converters also have remote On/Off, as well as an output voltage trim function of ±10% for single output models, along with protection against overload, overvoltage, and short circuit. The products have a calculated MTBF greater than 1.3 million hours and are backed by a three year product warranty indicating the long-term reliability of this product family.
