To launch the target configuration, it is necessary to open the target configurations view. To do this click on View, then Target Configurations. This will open another tab where the project navigator normally appears. Expand the User Defined folder and locate the target configuration that was just created. Ensure that the emulator is connected, and right click on the target configuration, then select Launch Selected Configuration.
