In summary, the LTC3876 is a dual output synchronous step-down DC/DC controller that provides the VDDQ supply voltage, the VTT bus termination voltage and the VTTR reference voltage for DDR1/DDR2/DDR3 applications. It has an operating input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V. The switching frequency is programmable from 200kHz to 2MHz which allows the use of small external components. Additional features include output voltage tracking, programmable soft start, RSENSE or DCR current sense, remote VDDQ sensing and a power good output signal. The LTC3876 is available in 38-pin thermally enhanced 5mm x 7mm QFN and TSSOP packages.
