Resistor mismatch over time, temperature, and common mode voltage can be a significant source of error in amplifier circuits. The LT5400 provides four precision matched resistors in a MSOP-8 package. The LT5400 has resistor-to-resistor matching of 0.01%, temperature drift of 0.2 ppm/°C, and less than 2 ppm long term drift over 2000 hours. In configurations such as the one shown, matching for CMRR is even better, at 0.005%. This gives a common mode rejection that is orders of magnitude better than is obtained from discrete 1% 0402 resistors. The LT5400 operates from -75V to +75V and over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. For more information about using the LT5400 with the LTC6362, see Design Note DN502.
