JCJ Series DC/DC Converters

XP Power’s JCJ series of low power, isolated and regulated DC/DC converters offer 8 or 10 Watts of output power with a 2:1 input voltage range. The DC/DC converters are offered in an industry-standard metal-cased 24-DIP package that measures just 1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40 inches, making them suitable as a low cost drop-in replacement or a power upgrade in existing end products; saving the need to re-design the PCB layout.

The units offer the wide 2:1 input voltage options of 9 – 18 VDC, 18 – 36 VDC or 36 – 75 VDC, covering the nominal application voltages of 12, 24 and 48 VDC. Single output models are available with an output voltage of 2.5, 3.3, 5, 12 or 15 VDC. Dual-output models offer +/-12 or +/-15 VDC outputs and +/-5 VDC for the JCJ08. The outputs are regulated to within +/-0.5% over all input conditions and to less than +/-1% for all load conditions. The JCJ series provides an input to output isolation of up to 1,500 VDC for 1 minute.

The units operate over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. No additional heat sinking or forced airflow is required for the converter to achieve its full output rating.

These highly-efficient DC/DC converters are extremely reliable with an MTBF greater than 1 million hours.

All units feature overvoltage and continuous short-circuit protection.
