1" x 1" PCB Mount DC-DC Converters

XP Power features the JSM, JKW, JCM and JTK series of DC/DC converters. Aimed at space constrained portable applications, these highly efficient board mounted converters provide either single or dual regulated outputs from an ultra-compact 1" x 1" footprint and a low profile ranging from 0.39" to 0.41". Achieving an industry leading power density of up to 73 watts per cubic inch and an efficiency of up to 92%, these tiny units are ideal for applications where PCB space for the converter needs to be kept to a minimum and an industry standard package pinout is required. These products can replace existing 1” x 2” packages thus reducing required board space by 50%.

There are four different series with multiple output power ratings and input voltage ranges. The JSM10/25 range has a 2:1 voltage input range with 10 watts or 25 watts output. Also with 10 watts or 25 watts output, the JWK10/25 series offers a wider 4:1 voltage input range. For 15 watt, 20 watt, and 30 watt applications see the JCM and JTK families. The JCM15/20/30 products include a 2:1 input voltage range while the JTK15/20/30 series has a 4:1 input range. Each of the four ranges have a combination of single outputs with 3.3 V_DC, 5 V_DC, 12 V_DC, or 15 V_DC and dual outputs of ±5 V_DC, ±12 V_DC, or ±15 V_DC.

All series produce a tightly regulated output, are housed in a metal case, provide a minimum 1500 V_DC isolation, and have safety approvals per 60950-1 standards (except 30 watt models). Most models offer output voltage trim on the single outputs and include remote on/off. A three-year warranty is standard with all models.
