Image of AMD KCU116 Evaluation Kit AMD's Kintex UltraScale+ FPGA KCU116 evaluation kit is ideal for evaluating key Kintex UltraScale+ features, most notably 28 Gbps transceiver performance. Kintex UltraScale+ devices provide one of the best balances of price, performance, and wattage in a FinFET node, delivering a cost-effective solution for applications that require high-end capabilities including 33 Gb/s transceivers and 100G connectivity cores. This FPGA family is ideal for both packet processing and DSP-intensive functions and is well-suited for applications such as wireless MIMO technology, N x 100G wired networking, and data center networking and storage acceleration.
