WIRL-CLTI Adrastea-I LTE Module

The Adrastea-I module from Würth Elektronik is a high-performance multiband LTE-M and NB-IoT module with extremely low power consumption. The module features a compact design measuring only 13.4 mm x 14.6 mm x 1.85 mm, integrated GNSS, an embedded Arm® Cortex®-M4, and 1 MB of Flash for user application development. The module is based on the high-performance Sony Altair ALT1250 chipset.

The Adrastea-I module is Deutsche Telekom certified. Würth Elektronik has a strong partnership with Deutsche Telekom for connectivity (SIM card). The pre-certified Adrastea-I module from Deutsche Telekom enables integration to the end-product without further end-product label industry-specific certification (GCF) and network operator certification, when connectivity (SIM card) is used from Deutsche Telekom. It also enables end-products to connect on roaming partner’s networks where Deutsche Telekom does not have network coverage.

An Adrastea-I evaluation kit and Adrastea Commander tool are available to get started with the module and test its functionalities. The evaluation board can be connected via a USB port on a PC for testing.
