Würth Elektronik Ophelia-III compact radio modules are designed for wireless communication between devices such as control systems, remote controls, and sensors. Without pre-installed firmware, the Ophelia-III offers engineers the flexibility to integrate proprietary firmware or utilize the Nordic nRF Connect SDK for custom applications like Bluetooth® LE (BLE), Zigbee®, or Thread. The module includes an integrated PCB antenna and provides the option to connect an external antenna for greater range. Powered by the nRF52840 chip, it combines high performance with low power consumption. The Ophelia-III radio module is equipped with extra pins for custom device or sensor connections, making it versatile and ready to be tailored to a user’s project.
